4 Tips to improve your iPhone's Battery Life

Most of us who use iPhones may feel that it's Battery Life isn't up to the mark. It's battery barely lasts a day, that nothing compared to Android phones, which at factory settings give around 1.5 to 2 days of Battery life. So, here are 5 tips that will surely increase the Battery life of your iPhone.

No.1 : Never Charge your iPhone with your iPad's Charger

Never ever charge your iPhone with your iPad's charger or a higher watt capacity charger as it will decrease the capacity of your iPhone in the long run. The iPad charger may charge your iPhone quickly but at the cost of the capacity of the Battery. Only use a 5W wall adapter for your iPhone.

Never use this for your iPhone
Always use this.
No.2 : Never leave your iPhone on charge once it has reached 100%

Your iPhone is never going to reach 110% charge so, never leave it on charge when it reaches 100%. What happens is that the phone then discharges to 95% forcefully and then charges it again. This your iPhone will run through Battery cycles more quickly and hence reducing its charge retaining capacity.

Unplug it from the charger as soon as it reaches 100%

No.3 : Turn off 3G whenever not required

Using 3G or LTE on your iPhone gives you really fast data speed, but also munches up your battery quickly, so switch of 3G whenever your not using it. You'll notice the difference. Apple themselves warn you that using 3G consumes a lot of battery life.

No.4 : Switch off "Fetch" Mail

When you associate your iPhone with any mail ID, it automatically fetches mail every 15min, this is a huge drain on your iPhone's Battery. You need to change it to manual, the problem is solved then !!!

I hope that these tips help you increase the duration of your iPhone's Battery.

These tips also apply to other Devices in General.

Peace Out
